IS IT OKAY TO CONTINUE IN THE RELATIONSHIP EVEN WHEN THERE ARE CONSTANT QUARRELS?

It is true that quarrelling is a natural part of every relationship, but a relationship should actually be enjoyed and not endured. There is a stage of quarrelling where it would become toxic, and if such a relationship ends up in marriage, it might not really be healthy.

Quarrelling shows misunderstanding, and the more frequent it becomes show that both partners aren’t capable of having good understanding, and understanding is needed for the relationship to succeed.

Also, immaturity and incompatibility could be the cause of the frequent relationship’s quarrel — and this is an even more difficult problem to solve.

When couples in a relationship have frequent quarrels which is hampering the growth of the relationship, they should ask themselves two questions: the root cause of the quarrels and if they are willing to put in efforts to overcome those problems.  The answers to these questions would determine if both partners should continue in the relationship or not.

More importantly, it’s how the couples handle the quarrels that matter most. Many couples can’t handle quarrels and can’t pick themselves up after a quarrel — and this is even more toxic than quarrelling.
