HYGIENE: 5 REASONS YOU MUST WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE HANDLING FOOD

Food poisoning is one of the most common problems people face daily. Oftentimes, we blame it on restaurant operators, but the truth remains we’re probably not always as clean as we think. We go out, and back to our homes or eat food without pausing to think about the germs we may have encountered during our outings.

Germs are a leading cause of food poisoning and other dangerous diseases, so your health very much lies on how much you care for yourself.

If you’re in the habit of not washing your hands well before eating any edible, then you need to read this up, and better understand how much danger you expose yourself to daily.

HAND RAILINGS

All thanks to reflex, we tend to want to control our move up or down the stairs and hence, we hold tight to hand railings accompanying such stairs. We’re all guilty of this act, hence the need to wash your hands at the next available opportunity.

CAR SEATS

The butt crack is home to loads of intestinal and fecal bacteria, and should I also add; sweat from the butt crack or the extremely dirty crack of unclean individuals.

Cab drivers will never send a potential customer out because they appear unclean; the job to protect yourself lies only in your hands.

Also, do not forget the secretions that often leak out of some orifices. It is not always necessary to rest your hands on the seats.

HAND SHAKES

Shaking hands is inevitable if you are a social person or work in a public place; however, be bold enough to shake, and be wise enough to wash before eating.

Some individuals are not shy of picking their nose or visiting their privates with their hands without caring what danger that could pose. So do not be too lazy to wash!

PUBLIC DOORS

This includes car doors, bank doors and any public door you can imagine. An average hand is home to hundreds/thousands of bacteria; each time a hand grabs a handle, it deposits microbes and picks up some. Now multiply that by the hundreds/thousands of individuals holding thru same in a day. Washing your hands is never an option!

BILLS/NOTES

Some aprons are dirtier than a mad man’s underwear. Clients of fish and locust beans vendors can relate. Sad enough, those bills you hold daily also pass through these dirty aprons.

These bills are also held by mentally unstable people and they carry out transactions too.

The worst thing that can happen to an individual is sticking a bill in your mouth!
