For every man who’s willing to get married and settle down at some point in his life, it is an unwritten rule that you’ll come in contact with different sorts of women, with different attitudes before you (probably) eventually end up with the ‘nearly perfect’ one.
Rarely do you find cases where men marry the same woman they started off their dating experience with, and that of course, is owing to a couple of factors — including age, incompatibility, and the almost ‘inherent’ urge in men to explore and seek adventure. So you find that before a man finally settles down, he’d have had quite a handful of women (not always true, but this is often the case).
In this post, I’ll be grouping these different kinds of women into 5 categories (types), so Please, read and enjoy.
1. THE MONEY-LOVER
During his lifetime, every man would have met this type of woman. She is the type of woman who claims to love you from ‘the bottom of her heart’ usually when the going is good, and you have a lot of money to throw around, but stops loving you the moment the fancy life is no more. These types of women are good pretenders, and that makes it difficult for men to know their true persons. She’ll be there for you as long as she has the good life to enjoy. Some of them are even faithful lovers, but money is their only inspiration. Men often learn to avoid them when it’s too late.
2. THE LAZY AND TOTALLY DEPENDENT WOMAN
Not every man can understand how frustrating this type of woman is, except those who work hard to earn a living. Imagine working all month and year, and not being able to do much with it, why? — Because you have a girlfriend in your life who takes up half your income with her bills. She won’t work to take care of her own needs because she’s in a relationship with a man with a decent job. Lol. And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with a woman collecting from her man, but it just shouldn’t be a norm. Like what happened to gender equality, though? Lol.
3. THE MARRIAGE-HUNGRY WOMAN
Some women could act desperately when they want to get married, and would even want to take in for you. Lol. These types of women know it’s the only way they can try to force you into an early (unwanted) marriage. Women in this category are usually in their late 20s/ early 30s, and feel they’re ripe for marriage, and so would do anything to realise their desire. They’ll buy you gifts, befriend your family and buddies, and sometimes, you find that some of them are even willing to fully bear the financial burden of the wedding if that is what it’ll take for them to be a wife.
4. THE WILLING SIDE-CHIC (WOMAN)
It’s probably strange, but it is a fact that there are women out there who would date a man knowing fully well that he’s in a serious relationship with another woman. Some of the women in this category do this in the hope that the man may eventually find them good enough for the main chic role, while some do it just for the fun and sex, with no feelings involved.
5. ‘THE ONE’
The woman in this category is the one most men eventually end up marrying. I say ‘most’ because not every man has the ability to recognise her when she comes around. This woman is the one who’ll be (who was) with you through thick and thin. The one who understands and gets you better than anyone else, the one who puts you before even herself on most occasions. The woman who’ll deny herself a lot just to see you achieve your life’s goals. She’ll support you emotionally, financially and spiritually if she has to. These type are rare to find, but there’s surely one for every man. Some men are lucky enough to have her in their life from their younger days, while some only find her much later in life. The truth though remains that not all will end up with her, except those who have eyes to see.
So guys, those are the 5 categories of women you’re most likely to come in contact with before you eventually settle down. I do hope every man gets his number 5 though. Lol.
