A typical Web designer makes more money a month than a civil servant makes sometimes. You may have to pay for it, but the truth is, when you finally start reaping the fruits of that move, you’d be glad you did. So why not look inward, and find something you think you have a flair for; learn it, and make a living off it?
START AN ONLINE BUSINESS
The Internet is a very big well of opportunities waiting to be tapped. There are several Internet sites where you can register, and offer services in return for money. Fiver and Upwork are good examples of sites like that. On these sites, you’ll find millions of other people who offer all sorts of services for money too. It’s basically a place to sell your skills, and make money off it.
Apart from joining the online freelancing community, you can also become a blogger. Look for a niche (subject area) you think you’re passionate about, and start providing information on it. With consistent effort, it’s only a matter of time until you start making mega money off it.
GET AN ICT CERTIFICATION
Getting employment these days doesn’t depend just on your primary degree or certificate; it goes beyond that now because the world is changing. Most recruiters today want a staff that can compete in the today’s ICT driven world. What that means is that unless you gain some deep knowledge of ICT, you are most likely going to be left hanging in the race for available jobs. So why not go out there today, and get registered with a proper ICT training center, get a certificate in the end, and get ahead of the rest of the pack?

The truth about opportunities is they often come through people you know. What that means is that the more people you know, the more opportunities you’re likely to get.
Don’t forget that meeting new friends doesn’t mean meeting people who wouldn’t add any real value to your life; you must connect with people who share the same interests as you. This would lift your chances of getting to your desired point in life.
