FINGERS CAN TELL IF YOUR PARTNER IS FAITHFUL OR NOT, ACCORDING TO A RESEARCH

Can fingers really predict infidelity? A research says it can to a certain extent. According to the research, People whose ring and index fingers are same length are more likely to be faithful while those with a longer ring finger are more likely to cheat.

The experimental psychologists from Oxford University and Northumbria University studied 600 men and women in Britain and the US, looking at the link between hand shape and sexual habits.

The researchers believe exposure to high levels of testosterone (a hormone linked to sex drive) in the womb has a long-lasting effect on finger length. Those with a longer ring finger are likely to have been exposed to more testosterone.

Dr Rafael Wlodarski of Oxford University said: “This research suggests that there may be two distinct types of individuals within each sex, pursuing different mating strategies.

“We observed what appears to be a cluster of males and a cluster of females who are more inclined to “stay”, with a separate cluster of males and females being more inclined to “stray” when it comes to sexual relationships.

“It is important to note that these differences are very subtle, and are only visible when we look at large groups of people – we cannot really predict who is going to be more or less faithful.”

So do you have a longer ring finger and do you think you can be considered to be unfaithful? What do you really think about this study?
