DO BEARDS REALLY ADD TO A MAN’S MASCULINITY?

In the olden days, it was normal to see men spot thick stubble, and it was highly fashionable at the time. But the fashion of thick stubble tends to have gone with time, but have now become a trend in recent years.

Men tend to spot thick stubble and a trend known as “beard gang” has seen full beards become all too common.

But how do women really feel about this trend, and how do they react to the beard gang?

According to a study published in the Journal of Evolutionary Biology, women view men with stubble as more attractive for short-term flings than men with full beards, which were seen as more attractive for long-term relationships.

The study’s authors suggested beards may act as a signal of men’s age and masculine social dominance.

Another study published in the Journal of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society also indicated that specific types of facial hair have a major impact on how women perceive individuals with a beard.

Men who are clean-shaven or who have a light amount of stubble were rated as being the least attractive by women and men.

Also, the perception of a man’s masculinity increases with the amount of facial hair that he has. The study also found that men and women indicated that men who have a full beard appear to be healthier than those without any type of facial hair.

Beards tends to give a man a different look from when he’s clean-shaven, and although it differs from women to women, but men seem more masculine when they spot beards, and the more a woman perceives a man to be masculine, the more she’s attracted to him.
