People who do not get enough sleep risk having cancer and other health problems, experts have warned. So do you get enough sleep?
More and more people are ignoring the health benefits of getting enough sleep. Smartphones, social media, tablets and watching television in bed have all been blamed for interrupting the body’s production of the sleep inducing hormone melatonin.
Sleep is important in influencing a person’s mood, level of alertness and physical strength. It’s recommended we get eight hours of sleep everyday. Diabetes and heart disease are some of the health problems you risk if you don’t get at least 8 hours of sleep.
Don’t joke with your health, get enough sleep.
