ARE YOU WORKING OUT AND STILL FAT? 5 REASONS YOU’RE STILL OVERWEIGHT

I’ve seen so many people complain about working out, dieting and still are fat; it’s a normal scenario and I’m quite sure you must have seen someone who is passing through this as well.

If you are passing through this or you know someone who’s fat and still can’t slim down no matter the amount of exercise then you need to take this serious.

I would share with you five reasons why shedding weight might be quite impossible no matter the hard work you put in

1. NO DIVERSITY IN WORK OUTS

Most times people with weight issues don’t tend to vary their work out, they stick to just a few work out styles and just be at their comfort zones in those work out styles. When you stick to just a few work outs, you might not get the best of your work outs. As your body gets used to a work out style, you would no longer get to work hard at it, boredom might even set in as well as loss in motivation, meaning you’re just undoing your hard work.

2. YOU TRY TO COMPENSATE YOUR HARD WORK

We all do this; after a hard day’s work at the gym, you might tend to compensate yourself a little by eating much to relieve yourself off stress. This act might backfire and undo all your hard work; at the end of the day you might have taken in more calories than you’ve lost, leading to weight gain instead of loss.

3. YOU SLEEP TOO LITTLE

Sometimes you might get so motivated to work out and even work out late in the night, cutting short your sleep by hours. This might as well backfire because not getting enough sleep would even kill the effects of your work out causing you to even gain weight rather than lose it. Depriving yourself off sleep would increase your stress levels, slow down your metabolism and as well increase your cravings for more food and you know what that means.

4. INCONSISTENCY

Inconsistency is always a bad trait in almost everything and this includes dieting and exercising. When you exercise today and you’re off tomorrow it might be harmful to your quest to lose weight. Eating inconsistently might even be worse; when you’re on your diet today and tomorrow you’re off it, it could be detrimental to your weight; this act might destroy your metabolism process and cause your body to store fats.

5. IT MIGHT BE A MEDICAL MEDICATION

People have this habit of not knowing about this option, as there is this belief that anything that pertains to being overweight is attributed to too much food. You should take it to heart that certain medications can cause you to gain weight; hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems and even a medical situation called polycystic ovary syndrome would make your shedding weight even far from your dreams.

Taking too many sugary drinks and eating large portions of meals can as well dampen your exercise routine.
