Many ladies have this problem; dating a violent man. Reports of violence in marriages and relationships are extremely high with women on the receiving end of their highly volatile partner. What baffles me most is that these women on the receiving end of violence still can’t leave the relationship. Why they can’t leave is another topic for another day. Dating a violent man would bring you nothing but trouble; below are 8 reasons why you should NEVER date a violent man.
1. NO VALUE
Like I clearly pointed out in should I go back to my ex; if a man hits you, it means he doesn’t value you. I compared women to cars; a rickety car can be driven anyhow but if it’s an expensive car; that, he would value. So which category do you belong? Do not make lame excuses like ‘’it’s my fault’’; no matter what you did wrong, he shouldn’t hit you. There is just one simple truth here, if he hits you, he doesn’t value you.
2. HE WOULD ALWAYS HIT YOU
I wonder why women are always sentimental. A man keeps hitting them and they keep making up excuses for the man, thinking he would come around and the funny part is that he keeps hitting them and they keep hoping he would change. If he hits you once, leave before it’s too late, he has to know your stand on this. He didn’t bring you to this world, he doesn’t own you, and so he shouldn’t hit you.
3. YOU LOSE YOUR RESPECT
If the one person that should value you the most keeps hitting you, how do you expect other people to treat you? The only thing you’d get from people is sympathy but there would be a major dent in the respect you get, your class and worth would also be affected.
4. YOU COULD DIE
Yea, don’t laugh at this. Some men are extremists; I’ve read of a man pushing out his lady from a moving car; what craziness? Do you want to kill her? Sorry, the correct question should be; do you want to kill yourself? Dating a violent man could lead to your death and who wants to die in such a way?
5. YOU END UP LOSING YOUR SHINE
How do you think other men would see you? If you are the kind that’s always beaten by your man, you may lose your shine in front of men and what could be worse than that. I’m quite sure every woman would want men to admire them.
6. YOU LIVE IN FEAR
When you’re with a violent man, your life is in terror; you are too afraid to do things because you are afraid of making a mistake that would get you beaten. You have fear for the man not respect and that’s the worst thing that could happen to any person; a life of fear.
7. YOUR MIND BECOMES ENSLAVED
Please ladies, don’t let it get to this stage; you don’t have a clue what the previous point (fear) can do to your mind set. Little by little, fear creeps up in your mind till it reaches a very high point; then your mind becomes enslaved to the fear of that man. At this stage, your mind is weak, turning back is difficult. Fear is the worst thing that could happen to the mind of anyone.
8. DON’T YOU LIKE YOUR BEAUTY?
This is the first question I ask every lady dating a violent man; isn’t your beauty special to you? The only answer here is no; I don’t see why someone would like her beauty and let her body be inflicted with bruises, marks and bleedings. Date a man that would bring out the beauty in you not scatter it.
Really there is no excuse for dating a violent man but after all said and done; ladies still find themselves hugely attracted to their ‘man-beater’. This is why I intend working on ‘why ladies love a violent man’. Watch out for that tomorrow.
