9 THINGS YOU MUST POSSESS TO BE A COMPLETE WOMAN

A few days ago, my colleague, Jake brought you 10 things every cool guy should own. After reading that piece, I felt motivated and inspired to put something similar together for our female fans. 9 things you must have before you qualify to be viewed as a complete woman. They include both material and attitudinal properties. Stay with me as I expose every detail to you…after all, if we don’t take care of you, who will?

1. AN ADMIRABLE ATTITUDE

As a woman, you should have an admirable attitude; the kind of attitude people notice and want to emulate. You should know what to say at any given situation and how to say it. A great woman knows how to talk to her man, she knows how to speak to people and make her point without ruffling feathers. She is respectful and honest in her dealings, the kind of woman people want to be around.

2. GOOD COOKING SKILLS

I don’t know what you have heard, but I believe every woman should know how to cook. A great woman loves to cook, and knows how to apply all cooking ingredients in their right quantities. She’s versatile in her cooking, and not a ‘one delicacy kind of woman’.  Even if your mom can’t teach you, enrol at a catering school. Knowing how to cook good is a basic for every woman, and like the saying goes, ‘the fastest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’.

3. A GOOD MAN

Naturally, all humans need someone they can lean on for emotional support and otherwise, but if you’re getting a man into your life, be sure it’s a good man. What’s my definition of a good man?—the kind of man who puts you first, before anyone/anything else. He knows your worth and values you. He’s always there when you need him, and supports you in all ways you could possibly need him to. He’s a complete man; every woman needs that kind of man.

4. A GOOD CIRCLE OF FRIENDS

Not every woman loves keeping friends; but if you must, be sure to be selective. Keep only a few friends; people you can trust, who respect you and your opinion. Make friends with people who think like you do (like minds); people you can learn from and not otherwise. Keep your circle tight, honest and simple.

5.  A RELIABLE SOURCE OF INCOME

A great woman doesn’t just fold her arms and wait for a man to come take care of her; even when she has a capable man, she works hard to earn a living for herself. It doesn’t have to be the biggest job or business, just something to keep you busy and provide for your needs always. Women who work and struggle to earn a living are the most respected.

6. A HEALTHY BANK ACCOUNT

It’s not enough to have a job or business, you should be able to save and have something to fall back on in case something ever goes wrong (of course, no one prays for that). Some women toil and work hard only to spend most of their earnings on clothing and accessories (bad planning). That isn’t right; you should be able to save a part of your weekly/monthly income. Women are supposed to be naturally conservative.

7. A PLACE OF YOUR OWN

When you get to a certain point in your life, it’s ideal that you move into a place of your own. This doesn’t mean you stop keeping in touch with family and friends, it’s just a way of getting some space and privacy for yourself. It earns you more respect and it means you’re ambitious. If you have a serious man in your life, you’ll find that this can also be an added advantage. *wink*

8. A GREAT WARDROBE

A great wardrobe is one that contains the major fashion accessories you need as a woman…in their right quantities–Jeans, gowns, tees, belts, wrist watches, makeup kits, etc. as a woman, you shouldn’t ever lack what to wear.

9. A GOOD DRESS SENSE

Some women can have all the clothes in the world, and still dress awfully and look like masquerades. As a woman, your dress sense should be unique and unrivalled. You should know how to combine clothes and accessories to get a perfect look; if you don’t know how to, meet people who do for assistance. Fashion shows on TV and radio can also help improve your dress sense. Remember, you’re addressed just the way you’re dressed.

So those are the basic things you must possess before you’re viewed as a complete woman. Like I always say, no one is perfect, but ‘near- perfection’ can be attained if we keep working at it. Now, signing off; thanks for your time and bye.
