9 REASONS A LYING PARTNER IS AS BAD AS A CHEATING PARTNER

So many people look at a cheating partner with much disdain; their act is perceived with disgust and like the worst thing that could happen in a relationship, but I think cheating is terrible but it’s equivalent to a partner that also can’t do without lying.

A lying partner shares so many characteristics with a cheating partner, the weight of their acts pass same effect on their partner.

I would share six reasons why a lying partner is just as bad as a cheating partner.

1. THEY BOTH HURT

Lies hurt; the effect of lies could sting a partner in the heart. Lies and cheating leave the same seed and after effect in the heart of a partner. Same way it would hurt to find out that your partner cheats is the same way it would hurt when you find out that your partner is a deceitful person and deceitful to everyone including you; it’s never a good feeling.

2. A LYING PARTNER IS ALSO NOT TRUSTWORTHY

You can never trust a cheating partner; but how about a lying and deceitful partner? Can you trust a lying partner? A lying partner as well cannot be trusted; lies and unfaithfulness breed through same channels and leave being untrustworthy as its seed.

3. THEY ARE INTERTWINED

A cheating partner lies and a lying partner could probably cheat; a cheating partner would tell a lie to cheat and a lying partner could as well cheat and tell a lie; there is no much difference between both but they share a lot of similarities.

4. A LYING PARTNER COULD DO A LOT BEHIND YOUR BACK

A cheating man or woman would sleep with someone behind your back and a lying partner would also do a lot of deceitful acts behind your back; for a partner to lie to you about a deed then it means there is nothing worthy about that deed; that’s what a lying partner knows how to do best – cover mischievous acts.

5. A LYING PARTNER DOESN’T REALLY CARE ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL

When a partner cheats then it means that partner didn’t put into consideration how you feel else that partner wouldn’t partake in such an act; same can be said about a lying partner, for a partner to remain untrue to you then it could also be said that such a partner didn’t have you in mind.

6. A LYING PARTNER IS AS WELL SELFISH

A cheating partner is selfish and cares only to satisfy self, same can be said about a lying partner; a lying partner would do hideous acts to satisfy self and still won’t stand up to admit his/her actions. A lying partner thinks about self before every other person and depicts that in every action.

7. A LYING PARTNER IS IMMATURE

Cheating is an act of immaturity because you promised to stay true to one partner but lack the self-control to do that and even broke the promise of trust and other things, same can also be said about a lying partner; lying is an act of immaturity, if you can’t tell your partner the truth then you lack the maturity to be in a relationship.

8. A LYING PARTNER COULD ALSO BE A CHEATING PARTNER

In the third tip, I described both actions as intertwined; for a partner to lie, it also means that partner can also do so many other acts of which cheating can be among; people lie to cover many acts that they wouldn’t want their partner to be aware of, anything that one would want to hide from a partner might be as bad as or even worse than cheating.

9. BOTH HABITS ARE HARD TO STOP

Like every other bad habit, lying and unfaithfulness are extremely hard to stop. Once a person have become accustomed to lying rather than saying the truth then it would be extremely difficult for such a person to change; bad habits stick and cheating and lies stick as well.

I’ve heard people say so many times that it’s better to have a partner that lies than one that cheats; if you ask me, I’d rather have an honest partner than either of a lying or cheating partner.
