This is one highly important quality that a leader shouldn’t lack. There are times when motivation would be low among your followers, and it’s at such times a leader is needed the most. Being able to inspire and motivate your followers would lead to success, and being unable to inspire them could lead to failure. Motivation is an important key to success.
2. A GOOD LEADER LEADS BY EXAMPLE
A good leader ought to set exemplary lifestyles. Setting exemplary lifestyles would make the leader respected and trusted. But when a leader says something and does another then he isn’t setting good examples.

Every good leader should be confident. Confidence is charismatic, confidence would make people believe in you — and most importantly, being confident shows that you believe in yourself.
4. PASSIONATE, COMMITTED AND ENTHUSIASTIC
A good leader is passionate, committed and enthusiastic about the work or cause they are working for.
These three characteristics show zeal, and you cannot expect people to be zealous if you aren’t zealous.
5. HONESTY
People would respect you more when you are not only honest in your words but your lifestyle as well — and a good leader ought to be honest in both his words and his lifestyle. Being a deceitful leader would only make your followers lose faith in you.
6. INTUITION
Sometimes, it’s just plain guts and intuition that separates a great leader from an average leader. A good leader ought to have guts and intuition and be able to trust them.
