8 THINGS YOU SHOULDN’T DO WHEN YOU ARE TIRED

Having enough rest is highly important and this would make you more efficient in a task and more creative. However, when you are tired, your judgement could become impaired and your efficiency and productivity levels.

These are some of the things you shouldn’t really do when you are tired.

1. DON’T DRIVE 

Your concentration level and ability to make sound decisions becomes low when you are tired and these are two important criteria for driving. Thousands of accidents are recorded yearly because people enter the road even when they are extremely tired.

2. DON’T HAVE A FIGHT WITH YOUR PARTNER

If there is any time to avoid a fight with your partner, it’s when you are tired. It’s harder to control your emotions when you tired and this can cause you to say things you wouldn’t ordinarily say or cause your temper to rise quickly. Little quarrels can escalate easily when one or both partners are tired.

3. DON’T MULTITASK

It’s hard to multitask when you well rested and it’s even harder when you are tired. You tend to make more mistakes when you are tired; so multitasking should be avoided.

4. DON’T EAT JUNKS

You tend to crave junk foods when you are hungry or tired. Going for junk foods would make you eat more than you would ordinarily and this isn’t healthy for your system.

5. DON’T OVERDO IT IN THE GYM

When you are tired, don’t try to be a macho in the gym. You are prone to injury and more likely to cramp a muscle when you are tired. Focus on light cardio like walking instead.

6. DON’T TRY TO GO ON A DATE

If it’s your first date and you are extremely tired, it might not go down too well. You might not be your best self when you are tired and this could even make you boring and unsocial.

7. DON’T TRY TO LEARN A NEW TASK

You should know that sleep is important for storing information, and it’s more difficult to store new information when you are sleep-deprived. Try as much as possible to learn a task when you are well rested, not when you are sleep deprived, especially if it requires concentration and manual labour.

8. AVOID DIFFICULT / IMPORTANT TASKS AND DECISIONS

If you have a big task at hand, it’s important to be well-rested before carrying out the task. Being tired can impair your ability to make a sound decision or carry out an important task. Be sure to be well-rested before you do that big task or make that big decision.

Sleep is highly important, and carrying out these things mentioned above when you are tired is quite risky.
