8 THINGS EVERY MAN MUST BE READY TO DO BEFORE HE ENTERS A RELATIONSHIP

People call relationship a thing for only those with mature minds; that saying is 100 percent true but it doesn’t end at just acknowledging the reality of those words; acting upon it is way better.

When a man is single, it is just him; his life pattern, habits and so many other things that suit his ‘single’ life, but if he wants to enter a relationship he should be ready to do things differently else he wouldn’t have a successful relationship.

8 things every man should be ready to do before entering a new relationship.

1. BE FAITHFUL

Being faithful is the hardest thing for men to do, but in reality it shouldn’t be. If you have a lady that you honestly do care about and want to enter a relationship with her, being faithful shouldn’t be a 50-50 thing, it’s a must. Being faithful is a sign of maturity and if you want to have a relationship you should be ready to act mature; toying with a lady’s heart isn’t mature.

2. BE ACCOMMODATING 

When a man is single everything he does is for himself, everything borders around himself- this is because he is in a relationship with himself. But when he’s about having a relationship such ideologies should be lost; he should be ready to be more accommodating to his lady and should be ready to make a lot of sacrifices for the relationship to work.

3. BE SENSITIVE

Sensitivity is highly important as far as relationships are concerned. Sometimes a lady might need her man for so many things but wouldn’t say; a man that’s sensitive would understand that his lady needs him but an insensitive man would hardly understand. Every man should be able to understand his lady’s emotions and act accordingly.

4. WINNING AN ARGUMENT SHOULDN’T BE THE PREROGATIVE   

Somehow arguments must always surface in a relationship but winning the argument should never be the priority. Like Shawn would say “In relationships there can’t be one winner but there can be two losers”. Winning arguments wouldn’t take the relationship anywhere; even if you are right and your lady is wrong, there should be more subtle ways to pass your message.

5. IT WON’T ALWAYS BE A BED OF ROSES

Relationships aren’t always a bed of roses; don’t be deceived by the passion in many romance books that would make you drool for more. There might be setbacks along the road but it shouldn’t deter the love from growing; the desire to keep your lady should be enough motivation to drive you both out of the mud anytime setback surfaces.

6. WORDS MEAN A LOT

Words mean a lot to women; what you say and how you say it is always important. Women hardly ever forget things you say, so watching your words at the heat of the moment would be a good decision. Also, every man entering a relationship should know how to mesmerise his lady with words; sweet words that would endear her to you the more. Praise her for what she has done, appreciate even the little things, tell her how much you admire her and she would love every bit of it.

7. HER HAPPINESS SHOULD BE YOUR PRIORITY

Like they say; “when a lady is happy, the relationship is happy”. Making your lady happy should always be a man’s motive; it might not always be easy but I think if she’s worth it then it should be worth it. By this she would also be inclined to return the gesture; that really is the secret of most men in a happy relationship.

8. NEVER KEEP TABS OF IRRELEVANT THINGS 

A lot of men have this habit of keeping tabs of irrelevant things. It wouldn’t help your relationship in any way but it would harm your relationship in many ways. You shouldn’t keep tabs of what you have done to please her because it should be a continual effort; you shouldn’t keep tabs of the wrongs she has done because things like that would only ruin the relationship.

It’s not enough to meet a lady and have a relationship with her, knowing the things that would help the relationship grow would always be a plus.
