8 KINDS OF FRIENDS THAT AREN’T TRUSTWORTHY

It isn’t everyone who is a friend, or pretends to be a friend that you can trust. Trust isn’t just something that happens overnight; trust is built after a person’s actions, habits and character have been analysed.

If a friend shows these characters, then that friend isn’t to be trusted.

1. THE ONES THAT LOVE RUMOURS

Friends who love to spread rumours shouldn’t really be trusted, because one day, they’d leak out all your secrets. Be careful of friends who can’t keep their mouths shut.

2. TALK BAD ABOUT OTHERS

Friends who talk bad about other people, and say a lot of negative things behind people’s back should also be followed with a long spoon, because such a friend will also talk bad about you, behind your back.

3. JEALOUS

Any friend who’s jealous of your success and can’t be happy with you when something good is going on in your life, isn’t a true friend, and you should be careful with such friendships.

4. GREEDY

You should also be wary of friends who are greedy; these kinds of people could one day go behind your back and take what’s rightfully yours.

5. THE ONES WHO MOCK YOUR DREAMS

True friends ought to be supportive of each other and help each other to reach desired heights. Any friend who wouldn’t support your dream, but rather try to kill it, isn’t a true friend.

6. LOOK DOWN ON YOU

Friends who look down on you because they are better than you in certain areas of life, aren’t true friends, and their friendship shouldn’t be trusted.

7. THE ONES THAT ABANDON YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM

Friends who don’t care about you in your time of need and choose to abandon you at that point, aren’t true friends.

8. THE ONES THAT ONLY REMEMBER YOU IN TIMES OF NEED

There are also the self-centred friends who only care about themselves and no one else; this type of friends will abandon you when you need their help, and come calling when they need yours.

Friends in these categories aren’t truly your friends, and you should be careful about such friendships.
