8 DEEP CONVERSATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE WITH YOUR PARTNER

Deep conversations reveal a lot of things and would help your relationship in many amazing ways. While regular conversations are healthy, deep conversations are healthier.

Couples should try to have deep conversations with each other as this would help them understand each other better.

These are some deep conversations to have with your partner.

1. YOUR FEARS AND INSECURITIES

Knowing your partner’s fear and what makes your partner feel insecure would tell you more about that person; it would also show you just where to help your partner so that they can overcome that fear and insecurity.

2. WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

You should know what makes your partner happy; not necessarily the little or noticeable things but the deep ones that would make them feel very glad.

3. YOUR GOALS AND DREAMS

Everyone has goals, dreams and vision (at least almost everyone), and discussing those goals and dreams could open a world of possibility; telling each other want you want from life would make you see each other in a different light, and helping each other chase your dreams would only make your relationship better.

4. TALK ABOUT YOUR FUTURE

Talk about your future, where you want to be in ten years time, what you want from that marriage or relationship in ten years time and what you want in life generally.

5. YOUR HARD TIMES

Knowing each other’s struggles would help connect you and your partner in a very different way; you should tell each other what you’ve been through and the struggles and hardships you’ve faced in life; this would make you understand certain things better in each other’s life.

6. HAPPY TIMES

Reminiscing on the happy moments you’ve had in life can make you truly happy. Talk about your happy childhood moments, your happy moments growing up and the happy moments you’ve had with each other.

7. WHAT YOU’RE GRATEFUL FOR IN LIFE

This is another very deep conversation to have with your partner; discuss with each other what makes you happy about life, the things you’ve loved and valued in life so far and what you love and are grateful for in each other.

8. FAMILY

Talk to each other about your family, what growing up was like and the family values you acquired. Family plays an important role in our lives and from one’s family background, a lot could be said.

These deep conversations wouldn’t only draw you nearer to your partner but would also tell you more about each other; you would see each other’s world through a different eye – through each other’s eye.
