Your bedroom should be a place were you find solace; your bedroom should breed comfort, a place for relaxation and a place you can get sound sleep.
Your bedroom should be your most important place in the house, after all this is where you sleep and wake up, if not anything.
The bedroom goes beyond where you sleep; it should be your place for getting ideas or being creative, it should be where you meditate and it should be where you relax and have peace of mind.
However, there are certain things you aren’t doing right to your bedroom that can kill the warmth of your bedroom.
1. A BAD BED
There is nothing like a good mattress; sleeping in a good mattress would aid comfort and promote sound sleep, which would boost your mind and body to be more productive.
However, a bad mattress would ruin your night and affect the rest of your day. It can also leave you feeling stressed and with a terrible back.
2. CLUSTERED ROOM
A bedroom is more comfortable and relaxing when there is lesser load and more space. But some people love to cluster their bedroom with things, and this is never good.
3. USING BOLD, BRIGHT PATTERNED BEDDING
Brightly coloured patterned bedding doesn’t make a room have that serene feeling. White bedding is usually the most comfortable when it comes to your bedding colour; it usually brings that serene and relaxing feeling.
4. SLEEPING WITH GADGETS
Your gadgets should be far from your bed, but this is one advice people pay little attention to.
The lights from electronics would make your sleep less comfortable, so no gadgets in bed.
5. LEAVING YOUR ROOM IN A MESS
There should be zero tolerance to a messy room. Always keep your room clean and tidy. You feel more comfortable when the room is perfectly clean.
6. POOR LIGHTING
The lighting of a room is also important; it shouldn’t be too bright and too dim. Aim to have a not too bright lighting that would bring a sexy but quiet feel to the bedroom.
7. NOT CLEANING YOUR BED
A dirty bed is a total no. The pillow case should be washed frequently or you would be more susceptible to pimples and other facial mishaps.
The bedsheet should be washed regularly as well; not taking care of your bed could leave you feeling itchy and with skin diseases.
