7 THINGS TO LOVE ABOUT YOUR LIFE

alone and happy

Not everyone love the life they have; so many wish they were others, so many wish they never existed, and some other times you love your life today and then hate it the next day.

Well, I’ve got good news for you. There are 7 things you can love about your life right now, no matter how terrible you might feel it is.

1. YOUR REAL SELF

You are you and the only version of yourself that exists. You might have a twin, a sibling, a close friend that totally acts or behaves like you, but that doesn’t take away the fact that you are just the only one on the planet.

2. YOUR DAILY STORY

Your life is a story, with each day you have a story to tell and a story to write — some part of the script you have the power to write and direct and others aren’t really within your control. But you have a story and that’s the beauty of life.

3. THE FREEDOM OF YOUR MIND

You have a free mind, you were born with a freewill; the choices you make, the things you think about, what you do and what you don’t. It’s free and open and it’s something you didn’t work for, but it’s all up to you to shape your mind and direct it the right way.

4. THE SIMPLE THINGS IN LIFE

You know the saying that the simple things in life are free? They really are. Happiness, laughter, a smile, a family,  friend, a stranger — these are the simple things in life, and though our daily lives revolve around money and the crave to get it, it doesn’t actually guarantee a happy life and a happy ending. It’s how you live your life each day, with or without money that determines how happy you would be.

5. LIFE’S SURPRISES

Life is full of surprises; some things are just so unexpected. However, it’s up to you to react to whatever life throws at you, whether positive or negative.

One surprising thing I’ve noticed in life is the fact that majority of people lack gratitude. Take a look back at some things you used to wish for and try to recognise how you appreciate them, now that you have them. At a time, you probably wished you were done with school, or you were married, or you had kids and so many other things. How much do you really get to appreciate those things when you finally have them?

6. THAT YOU STILL HAVE TOMORROW TO TRY AGAIN

Yes, tomorrow is promised no man, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t plan for it. As long as you’re still on the planet, then you should have in mind that it doesn’t end today; you still have tomorrow to try again, to give it another go, to give it another shot and to see things from a different perspective.

7. THAT YOU BECAME WISER

Left for you, you wouldn’t have a bad day at all, you wouldn’t have challenges and difficulties, and you wouldn’t really have to struggle for anything. But have you ever really thought about what those struggles and challenges really mean and what they really do? They are tests, they bring experiences that shape your life and make you wiser than you were the previous day, the previous month, the previous year and the previous decade.

Imagine all the things you know now and didn’t know last year; that’s what your life is all about — learning each day and becoming wiser from every situation.

You might not have all you feel you need in life, but there are over a thousand things to love about your life, and if you don’t get the bigger picture you wouldn’t really love your life.
