Many have been in one-sided relationships, and many are still in a one-sided relationship. A one-sided relationship is unhealthy for everyone; you would hardly feel appreciated or feel love and care when in such a relationship.
People who are in a one-sided relationship put in their all to make the relationship work, while their partner puts in just a little (which feels like a lot to them). A one-sided relationship can sap out the energy in you, leaving you emotionally drained and confused.
Many are in one-sided relationships and are oblivious of the fact due to the love they have for their partner; but this wouldn’t change the fact that it’s still a one-sided relationship.
Below are signs of a one-sided relationship:
1. YOU ARE UNAPPRECIATED NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO
People in one-sided relationships do a lot for their partners and also do a lot to make the relationship work; but in the eyes of their partner, they don’t do anything valuable. They put in all the efforts and still don’t get appreciated. Being in such a relationship can make a person feel undervalued and lose the sense of how much they’re really worth.
2. YOU MAKE ALL THE MOVES
When you have to make all the moves like setting dates, visiting, doing all the calls and every other thing in the relationship then you’re in a one-sided relationship. A relationship should be a two-way thing; communication and every other thing that’s important in a relationship shouldn’t be left to just one person. Having to make all the moves in a relationship just show you’re in a one-sided relationship.
