6 WAYS TO STOP YOURSELF FROM CALLING YOUR EX

You might be done and over with your ex, and that ex have move on, and has probably entered a new relationship, while you live in regrets and wishing you were still together.

These things happen all the time, and then you get the urge to call your ex back and you start wishing you were still together. You’ll only hurt yourself when you do this, and it’ll be a huge mistake to call that ex again.

These tips will help you resist that urge:

1. TAKE YOUR MIND AWAY FROM YOUR PAST RELATIONSHIP

Your mind will definitely play a fast one on you when you start thinking of your past relationship; you’ll only see the perfect scenes and how good you were together, and your mindset will make you feel guilty, believing that the failure of the relationship was your fault.

To move forward, take your mind away from the relationship, and in no time, you’ll forget that the relationship even existed.

2. CLEAR AWAY ANYTHING THAT REMINDS YOU OF YOUR EX

Old pictures of the both of you together, pictures of your ex, gift items or any item that brings any sort of sentimental attachment to your ex should be taken away.

3. STOP TRYING TO BE FRIENDS

If you are being honest to yourself, you’ll know that you can’t remain friends with that ex that you still feel something for. Quit trying to be friends and start trying to move on.

4. DELETE YOUR EX’S CONTACT

Delete any contact of your ex in your phone, and delete it in a way that you won’t have access to it anymore — meaning, you’ll delete call records, text messages and every history you both have on your phone. That’s how you stop yourself from calling your ex.

5. THINK OF YOUR FUTURE

Let your focus be on your future; if you spend enough time thinking of your future and planning your life for the better, you’ll never have time to start thinking of an ex or a past relationship.

6. SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE WHO MATTER TO YOU

Spend time with people who matter to you and who truly want to be in your life, rather than worrying yourself over someone that has moved on. Feel the true and pure love of family and friends, and you will understand why you have to be with people who matter to you.

Calling an ex who has moved on, is the worst mistake you can ever make. You’d only make yourself feel hurt and terribly sad for no reason.
