6 THINGS YOU MUST DO BY 35

There’s really no age limit to success and learning, so we’re not about to pressure you into doing stuff you’re not ready for, but then, everyone needs a little push in life sometimes. At 35, there are things society generally expects of you, and unless you live up to them, you’re not really considered good enough.

Here are some of those things.

LEARN TO SAVE MONEY

For most people, saving is a habit they just can’t cultivate. It’s near impossible to leave some money in the bank, and spend the little you need for your upkeep, but saving is good because your future often depends on it. If you do not save today, when unforeseen contingencies come, you’re left hanging.

DATE RIGHT

At 35, you really should be thinking about getting married or settling down in a single relationship, so why keep running from one woman or man to another? Get you a partner you can build with.

GET YOUR OWN PLACE

You shouldn’t be staying with your parents at 35. It’s not because it’s a sin, it’s because it’s not appropriate. How do you make your own decisions and be your own man in your parents’ house at 35?

GET OUT OF DEBT

At 35, you should be sorting your life and putting it together, not struggling to settle debts. Debts limit your growth.

MAKE THE RIGHT FRIENDS

It can seem difficult to let go of old friendships, but sometimes, you just gotta do what you gotta do. It’s not every friendship that allows you grow, so at 35, you should be able to tell them apart from the great ones, and align yourself with the best.

FORGET THE PAST, AND FACE THE FUTURE

Yesterday is in the past, no matter how you look at it. So why not keep it where it is, and focus on today and tomorrow. While today can affect tomorrow, yesterday cannot. Do not allow the past damage the future or present.
