Sometimes you fall in love with this cool and gorgeous guy and after months of dating him, you just wish he could be that man you say “I do” to. The question you should ask yourself is “Is he ready to settle down?” Just because he is in his mid-thirties doesn’t mean he is really ready to settle down. We have got some signs to help you find out if your man is really ready for the big day.
1. YOUR RELATIONSHIP MEANS NOTHING TO HIM WHEN HE IS WITH FRIENDS
Your man takes you to hang out with his friends and a friend jokingly ask him, “when are we gonna see the wedding invitation”. If the question annoys him and you hear him say, “we are not thinking about that, not now or in a million years, or responses close to that, you should have a rethink babe. If he talks about how he dreams of meeting some girl while you with him and his friends, you need to have a rethink. Constantly downplaying your relationship in front of his friends is a bad sign.
2. HE HAS NO BIG PLANS
If your man has no plans about his career and what he hopes to achieve years from now, then marriage isn’t one of his priorities. If he is not considering the future in other aspects of his life, what makes you feel he would consider marriage?
3. HE AVOIDS YOUR FAMILY
If he won’t attend any family event you invite him, he doesn’t see your family as his future in-laws. There is always an excuse for him to miss anything about your family.
4. HIS FRIENDS ARE SINGLE
Unlike women that want to be the first among their peers to get married, men are the opposite. As long as most of his friends are married, he would feel cool being in the bachelors club and he won’t see a reason to leave the club so soon. As long as his core friends are single, it kind of shapes the way he thinks.
5. HE TALKS ABOUT A FUTURE WITHOUT YOU
It’s cool for him to dream about his future but when you not in such dream then you probably not in his marriage plans. It doesn’t matter if it’s a joke because if he thinks of settling with you, you will always be in his subconscious.
