Attention is very important in a marriage, and society has tricked so many people into believing that it’s only women that need attention. Many people believe it’s only the women who feed off the attention of their men, but this is untrue. Men also need attention, the only difference is that they don’t make it very obvious.
These are signs your husband needs more attention:
1. HE STARTS GETTING WITHDRAWN
Some men tend to withdraw when they feel they aren’t getting enough attention from their wives. Men like these will feel bad about it and withdraw themselves from you. Is your man starting to feel withdrawn and is more often on his own? It could be that he’s secretly unhappy with the lack of attention you are giving him.
2. HE STOPS ASKING FOR THINGS
When a man is unhappy, he refrains from asking his woman things. You might think it’s a good thing, but it isn’t; this could mean he’s unhappy with the attention he’s getting in the marriage.
3. HE PROBABLY STARTS SPENDING TIME ON OTHER THINGS/PEOPLE
When your husband begins to feel isolated due to the lack of attention he’s getting, he could turn to other things, like his job, his friends or even the television. He’ll start to spend more time with other things.
4. HE STARTS TO FEEL YOU DON’T LOVE HIM ENOUGH
A man could easily translate your lack of attention for him to mean a lack of love and affection. When you start giving him inadequate attention, he might easily think you no longer love him enough.
5. HE WANTS YOU TO BE THERE MORE
A man who’s lacking attention from his wife could also be vocal about it; he’d want to be with you more, he could even complain about it and he’d tell you that you don’t spend enough time with him.
6. HE COULD EVEN GET JEALOUS OF THE TIME YOU SPEND WITH OTHERS
Some men will even be jealous of the time you get to spend with other people like your friends, family etc. When a man starts getting jealous of this, it most likely means that he needs more attention from you.
Your husband needs just as much attention also, and when you don’t give him enough attention, you could ruin the relationship you have with him in the long run.
