6 REASONS YOU FEEL YOU AREN’T GOOD ENOUGH

woman sad

The feeling of insecurity and not being good enough is suffered by a lot of people, and like I mentioned in the article 11 things to remember when you feel you aren’t good enough, the feeling of not being good enough is false; it’s just a trick your mind plays on you.

Do you know the reasons you feel you aren’t good enough?

1. YOU COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS

It’s not bad to have role models whom you look up to; you learn from their life experiences and they motivate you to be better. But that’s different from comparing yourself to others; that’s a battle you would never win; you are you and the best version of yourself — you need to understand this.

2. YOU DON’T KNOW HOW SPECIAL YOU ARE

A lot of people don’t believe they are special, and really, you are what you believe. You are unique and special in your own way, which makes you different from every other person. You need to always have that at the back of your mind, and start living your life, rather than just exist.

3. YOU DON’T LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH

You need love in your heart if you want to feel good enough. The feeling of not being good enough comes because you feel insecure about yourself; you don’t love yourself enough to believe that you are beautiful and a wonderful person. Because, if you love yourself, you won’t let people tell you otherwise.

4. YOU ARE AFRAID OF FAILING

When you see failure as the end point, you would be scared of it, and when you are afraid of failing, you would be afraid of living; you would be afraid to take risks, and you would rather be at the background.

Failure is just an opportunity to try again. Failure is an opportunity to be better, because it’s a teacher; it’s not something you run from, it’s something you learn from.

5. YOU AREN’T GRATEFUL

If you could take a minute and appreciate what you have going for you, for what you’ve achieved in life and for how far you have come, you wouldn’t feel you aren’t good enough ever again. A major reason people feel inadequate is because they tend to look at what they don’t have, without appreciating what they really have.

6. YOU SEEK OTHER PEOPLE’S VALIDATION

People who seek other people’s validation, never go far in life. When you give people the opportunity to tell you who you are; they would run you down and tear you apart. But when you tell people who you are and believe every bit of it, they would treat you that way.

The feeling of being inadequate and not being good enough is just a trick your mind plays with you because you let it.
