5 WAYS TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOUR BODY

I previously wrote on reasons why you should feel good about your body, but truth be told, it’s not always easy to feel good about your body, especially when you feel that you have so many flaws.

However, there are many ways you can improve your confidence about your body, and it’s really important that you feel comfortable with your body.

These five practical tips would make you feel better about your body:

1. FOCUS ON YOUR POSITIVES

You would never be comfortable with your body if you focus on your bodily flaws. Focus more on what makes you feel good about your body, feel comfortable with the part of your body that makes you beautiful — focus more on it and you would feel better.

2. LIKE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE MIRROR

Whenever you look at the mirror, remember the first tip always. Like what you see in the mirror, look at yourself in a better way and focus on your positive parts rather than your flaws.

3. EXERCISE

Even if you are fat and overweight, exercising regularly can make you feel better about yourself. A 2009 University of Florida suggests that people who didn’t hit any fitness milestone like burning fats while exercising also felt positive about their body as people who were even fit. So, exercise more and you would love yourself for it.

4. DO YOUR UTMOST BEST

You also have to give in your best if you are going to be comfortable with your body. Don’t just sit back and relax that you are overweight or that you have an odour or that you have pimples. No! Give it a fight, do your utmost best and you would feel satisfied after you’ve given it your all.

5. BE GRATEFUL

Being grateful is another efficient way you can build up your confidence about your body. Rather than moan about your body, make a list of the parts of your body that you really love. You would be amazed at how many parts of your body you are comfortable with. Doing this often or having it in mind would make you comfortable about your body.

With these five tips, you would gradually develop the habit of being comfortable with your body — and it’s highly important to feel comfortable about your body.
