5 SIGNS YOU AND YOUR PARTNER HAVE FALLEN OUT OF LOVE

We all want to love forever, but is that possible? Not always. Sometimes, you fall for someone with the hope of having a lasting relationship, but then, things can go south in the least expected way.

Some people know just when they start feeling less for their partner, but there are those who may suspect so, yet aren’t sure. So we’re sharing some signs you may have fallen out of love with your partner.

1. YOU’RE COMFORTABLE GIVING YOURSELVES ‘SPACE’

Taking ‘a break’ is not an uncommon occurrence in relationships. It is believed that it can help revive an ailing or dying relationship, but the truth is that it probably has harmed more relationships than do them good.

There are couples who have gone on to break up just because they gave in to the pressure of taking ‘a break’. The moment you become comfortable enough to not see or talk to your partner for a while, the more likely it is you are tired and will move on from that relationship.

2. YOU DON’T COMMUNICATE OFTEN

Long distance or short distance, the importance of communication in a relationship cannot be overemphasized. If you don’t create time to listen to, and talk to your partner, and exchange thoughts like a proper couple should, there’s no way you can have a good relationship.

In the same vein, when you and your partner gradually get to the point where you no longer communicate with each other, it’s a sign that things may have ebbed to a low.

3. YOU FIND IT HARD TO EXPRESS YOURSELVES AROUND EACH OTHER

Now, it’s not even a question of having time to talk and discuss, it is a question of how comfortable enough you are to do that around them. There are a lot of relationships going through this sadly, but I think that if things degenerate to that point, it’s never a good sign.

4. YOU DON’T FEEL EXCITED BEING WITH YOUR PARTNER

You know when you love someone, and when you don’t. Love comes with excitement and joy. You’re happy to be with them, you’re happy to talk to them, you look forward to each meeting or outing, you can’t even imagine making them unhappy, etc. However, if things get so bad that you don’t feel any of those anymore, then, it’s a red flag.

5. YOU’RE NOT SURPRISED TO DISCOVER THEY WANT TO MOVE ON

Typically, when someone you love breaks up with you, you feel pain, disappointment, and anger, and you want to do all you can to convince them otherwise, but it’s a sign the feelings aren’t there anymore when you hear that your partner is done with your relationship, and you’re not even bothered.
