It isn’t an uncommon practice when men try to do things to make their lady jealous in a relationship. Definitely, not all men are involved in this act, but a lot of men have done a couple of things sometimes just so as to make the women in their lives jealous.
Whether that’s the right thing to do is a question for another day, but men try to make women jealous, and they have their reasons.
1. POWER TUSSLE
It could be said that men are naturally dominant and they even try to bring that in their relationships. But not all women can be cajoled into being totally submissive to their man, so some underhand tactics are sometimes used by men to try to reclaim ‘power’, and jealousy is one of those tactics. There is almost always a behind-the-scene power tussle in relationships; people love control (not only men), and making the other partner jealous is a trick to getting that.
2. RETALIATION
Retaliation is also another reason why some men try to make their women jealous. It could be that he’s aggrieved over some wrong done by the woman and probably needs an apology or needs to also make his own action felt; jealousy is also used by men as a means of retaliation.
