4 LEGITIMATE EXCUSES THAT ARE KILLING YOUR MARRIAGE

A brilliant quote reads: “Make progress or make excuses.”

Whenever you make excuses, you give chance for regression and not progression. Excuses and regression are soul mates, where one is, the other will be.

These four excuses are killing your marriage without you noticing.

1. IT’S OKAY TO QUARREL

Stop thinking that it’s okay to quarrel, because it isn’t. For every quarrel, you plant a toxic seed in your marriage. So stop killing your marriage with quarrels and start fixing it with love, selflessness, forgiveness, understanding and every other thing that brings peace.

Learn to turn a blind eye sometimes and learn to let go.

2. IF ONLY WE COULD TALK MORE, BUT NO TIME

In this high-tech 21st century, communication is fast losing its place and I wonder how marriage could work without communication; it’s not possible. Talk more, communicate more and you’d see just how much your marriage will grow. You don’t need time to talk more, just start doing it; it shouldn’t be an option but a necessity.

Don’t let social media separate you from your partner; rather let it bring you both together.

3. IF ONLY WE COULD SPEND TIME TOGETHER MORE, BUT NO CHANCE

This is another excuse couples make that they shouldn’t be making. Make a decision to spend more time with your wife today and you’d be surprised at how everything will work towards you spending time with her.

Don’t be satisfied with the excuse of being too busy or too tired. Create the time; it’s always there.

4. IF ONLY WE COULD BE MORE INTIMATE, BUT THE MOOD IS MISSING

This excuse might seem legit but it’s only hurting your marriage. If you keep waiting for the right mood before you become intimate with your spouse, it might never come.

Interestingly, the previous three excuses are hurting your marriage so bad that if you stop them, you’d observe how intimate you’d become with your partner.

Stop the quarrels and you’d kill the toxicity that’s killing intimacy in your marriage. Talk to each other more and you’d want to be with each other more, be with each other more and you’d want to be more intimate.

These excuses are only ruining your marriage and you should find a way to stop making them.
