So much has been said about being a real man, but so little has been made on who a real man really is. So much emphasis has been placed on superficial things, but a real man is way beyond the superficial things as far as real men are concerned.
So who are real men and what do they do?
1. REAL MEN TREAT OTHER PEOPLE WITH RESPECT
Real men are respectful men; they treat other people with respect, both men and women. They aren’t rude and disrespectful and they don’t respect people based on their social class or status.
2. THEY UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONFIDENCE AND PRIDE
There is a thin line between self-confidence and pride, and real men aren’t proud, they’re just confident people who believe in themselves and don’t give room for low self-esteem.
3. REAL MEN HAVE A GOOD HEART
Real men have a good heart; they are kindhearted people who are good to others.
4. REAL MEN VALUE THEIR FAMILY
Real men understand the value of family, and they love and cherish their family.
5. REAL MEN VALUE RELATIONSHIPS
Real men value their relationships; their relationship with family, relationship with friends and their love life. They put in efforts to sustain and maintain their relationships.
6. A REAL MAN UNDERSTANDS THE VALUE OF TIME
Time is an asset that’s invaluable. Real men value their time; they understand the value of time and they plan their time really well.
7. HE ACCEPTS HIS MISTAKES
A real man has flaws too; he accepts his mistakes and learns from them.
8. A real man is honest. He is someone you can trust; he isn’t deceitful and doesn’t live a false life.
9. A real man doesn’t just exist; he has a focus, he has drive and he has goals.
10. A real man isn’t in competition with others; he doesn’t judge others and doesn’t live a life of comparison. He is who he is.
11. A real man is appreciative. He appreciates what others do for him, no matter how little.
12. A real man is too busy to harbour hate in his heart, keep grudges or malice with others.
13. When it comes to his own family, a real man loves and respects his wife, is a father figure for his son and builds a special bond with his daughter.
14. A real man does what he feels is right and best, and he doesn’t care what others think.
15. A real man appreciates life, he loves to be happy and he loves seeing others happy.
16. A real man isn’t selfish and self-centred.
Real men are different from ordinary men, and in essence, they are purpose-filled men.
