I guess it’s safe to say that every woman loves her face, but then, the way many women treat their face counters the earlier suggestion that every woman loves her face.

These bad habits below can spoil your beautiful face.

1. WORKING OUT WITHOUT WASHING YOUR FACE

Hitting the gym or doing any physical activity or even sweat related activity without washing your face (especially washing off the makeup) can ruin your beautiful face. Doing this can cause an excessive build-up of oil and increase the risk of clogged pores.

2. NOT TAKING CARE OF YOUR BEDDING

Sleeping in dirty pillowcase and bedspread isn’t good for your face; dead skin cells, bacteria and oil are deposited back into your pores when you use dirty bedding.

3. SLEEPING ON YOUR FACE

This is another bad habit to avoid; it can cause fine lines and wrinkles to develop on your face.

4. SLEEPING WITH MAKEUP

Besides your makeup, your skin is also exposed to various pollutants in the course of your daily activities. So not washing your face at the end of the day could cause clogged pores and all sorts of troubles for your skin.

5. RESTING YOUR CHIN ON YOUR HAND

This is a terrible posture that can lead to wrinkles, fine lines and sagging over time.

6. LACK OF ADEQUATE SLEEP

Not having enough sleep is also bad for your face. It can cause fine lines and duller skin, and the skin around your eyes would look pale.

7. SMOKING AND CHEWING GUM

These two habits can ruin your face. Ever heard of smokers’ lines? Smoking is the most common cause of wrinkles around the mouth.

Chewing gum also stresses the skin around the mouth and could cause wrinkles.

8. RUBBING YOUR EYES

Rubbing your eyes isn’t also good for your face. It can cause fine lines around the eyes.

9. BLOW-DRIER

Extreme heat from the blow-drier isn’t good for your face and it can also leave you with broken capillaries.

10. PICKING SCARS AND PIMPLES

Picking scars and pimples isn’t healthy as well. It can leave you with dark spots and scars, and the pressure from it can lead to a rupture below the skin surface.

11. BAD DIET
