Telling him he is just an ex doesn’t help but it instead makes him wonder what your ex is doing in your present.

Your man can’t read your mind and if he just asked you why you feel sad, please tell him and don’t use the ‘nothing’s wrong’ line.
10. “I need some time alone”
There is a huge difference between needing an alone time to just be with yourself over the weekend and needing time alone. Needing time alone means you want a break and why don’t you just tell him instead of trying to be polite. He would love to know if you are done with him.
