Procrastinating makes you unproductive and this is one habit you need to do away with. You should understand that the more you put things off, the less you are going to feel like accomplishing that task. Stop procrastinating and get it down now.

2. FAILURE TO ADMIT MISTAKE

Some people find it difficult admitting mistakes and instead find a way of blaming others for their mistakes. You can’t be productive if you live like this. Living this way makes you unproductive.

3. FAILURE TO SET GOALS

You can’t be productive if you don’t set goals. Failure to have concrete goals would make you unproductive.

4. HAVING TOO MANY GOALS

Having too many goals can also make you unproductive as you would be unable to focus properly on each goal.

You can’t be productive if you avoid making tough decisions. When you fail to make tough decisions, someone or something would make the decision for you and trust me when I say that won’t be pleasant.

6. NOT RESTING ADEQUATELY

You can’t be productive if you don’t find time to rest. Not giving your mind and body time to rest would make you unproductive.

7. FAILURE TO HAVE A DO-TO LIST

Not having a to-do list would make you unproductive. Writing down things you need to do helps you remember what you need to achieve.

8. EASILY DISTRACTED

You can’t be productive when you always allow yourself to get distracted easily.

9. NO VALUE FOR TIME

You can’t be productive when you always drop everything for other people. Use your time well because it’s your most valuable commodity.

10. MULTITASKING

Multitasking doesn’t make you productive and studies have shown that dividing your focus leads to lower quality work. When you focus on the job at hand instead of multitasking, you produce better quality work and hence increase your productivity.
