Do you have a constant feeling that something isn’t right in your relationship and things aren’t the way they used to be in the beginning? If you’re noticing some of the signs below in your relationship, it’s time for you to move on because you have fallen out of love with your partner.

1. YOU NO LONGER ENJOY YOUR PARTNER’S COMPANY

When we love someone, we want to be around them as much as possible. You always look forward to spending time with your partner and simple things like taking a walk together will be fulfilling. When you no longer enjoy your partner’s company and routinely distance yourself from your partner, you may have fallen out of love with your partner.

2. YOU AVOID TALKS ABOUT THE FUTURE

Being with someone you love should make you excited about the future. You are no longer in love with your partner when you find yourself avoiding talks about the future. At first, you were happy to talk about your future together with your partner, your wedding, where you’ll live, what you’ll name your kids and how you’ll spend retirement together etc but these days you avoid such topics.

3. YOU’VE STOPPED COMMUNICATING

Communication is an important ingredient in every relationship and if it has suddenly become super hard for you to communicate with your partner, then you have fallen out of love. Your heart isn’t in the relationship anymore if communicating with your partner has stopped feeling worth the effort.

4. YOU DON’T CARE IF YOUR PARTNER IS WITH SOMEONE ELSE

You have fallen out of love with your partner if you don’t care if your partner is with someone else. In a healthy relationship, the thought of your partner being with someone else should leave you upset and unsettled.

5. SAYING “I LOVE YOU” BECOMES DIFFICULT

When you are no longer in love with your partner, saying “I love you” becomes difficult and even when you say it, it doesn’t feel right inside of you. You might even find yourself smiling and changing the subject when your partner tells you he/she loves you.

6. YOU’VE LOST RESPECT FOR YOUR PARTNER

You have fallen out of love with your partner if you treat your partner as if they have little to offer. Respect is one of the most important elements in any long term relationship and a loss of respect for your partner is a huge sign that you have fallen out of love with your partner.

7. YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT FIXING PROBLEMS

When you have fallen out of love with your partner, you don’t care about fixing problems in your relationship. When the love you have for your partner fades, you become less interested in fixing the many problems that suddenly starts popping up in your relationship even if your partner wants to try fixing things.

8. YOU THINK ABOUT BEING WITH SOMEONE ELSE

You have fallen out of love with your partner when you always see yourself with someone else. Your mind and heart have already moved on if the majority of your thoughts is about being with someone else. You just don’t think about being with someone else, you also find yourself always thinking of ways to leave your partner.

9. YOU START COMPARING YOUR PARTNER TO YOUR EXES

When you find yourself suddenly spending a lot of time comparing your partner to your exes, that’s a huge sign that you’ve fallen out of love with your partner. It’s a sign that you aren’t happy with your partner and you are looking for reasons to justify your feelings.

10. YOU GET ANNOYED AT THE SMALLEST THING YOUR PARTNER DOES

You have fallen out of love with your partner if the things you once found adorable in your partner now get you annoyed easily. You now find yourself getting annoyed at the smallest thing your partner does and wonder how you ever found any of that attractive in the past.
