Women are just in the same league as the guys, or probably require extra care for themselves because of the sort of things they use and do every day. Below are some tips for a better personal hygiene culture in women.

 

WASH YOUR FACE MORE

The makeup and sweat on the face makes it easy for white heads and blackheads to creep up on your face, hence the need for thorough washing of your face. Use clean water and soap to rid your face of oil and makeup every night. It’s important to ensure you’re using the kind of soap that’s healthy for your skin too.

 

WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER THE DAY’S OUTING/USING THE TOILET

The people you meet and shake on a daily basis go through all sorts, and touch all kinds of things, some of which are dangerous for your health. Also when you use the toilet, you’re exposed to tiny harmful organisms that can cause infections and diseases. So it’s important to wash your fingers very thoroughly both after work or business daily and whenever you use the toilet.

 

HIT THE SHOWER AFTER A WORKOUT SESSION

Working out comes with sweating. Sweating is good for your health, but becomes bad and unhealthy when you allow it dry up on your skin. This allows for bacteria to get on it, and can lead to body odour, amongst other things.

 

BRUSH REGULARLY

Brushing not only keeps your mouth healthy, and safe from mouth odor, it also makes it possible to have a sparkling smile. You can’t smile confidently if you lack great looking teeth. Great looking teeth come from proper oral hygiene.

 

TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR

It’s not every hairstyle that’s okay for every woman. While some can handle every hairstyle, there are those who simply can’t. You may be doing yourself great disservice by wearing hairstyle that you can’t take care of. Good care for your hair includes making sure it’s washed and oiled up adequately to avoid bad smells and breakage.

 

TAKE CARE OF YOUR NAILS

Taking care of your nails prevents your nails from picking up dirt and fungus. Ensure that your nails are of manageable height and always wash them thoroughly with every hand wash. Use nail polish if you have to, and use a colour that’s compatible with your skin tone.
