Today’s topic for discussion in our Sunday Love Special forum is snooping. Many partner’s tend to snoop on their partner’s phone, irrespective of whether the partner is trustworthy or not. To some, it’s a normal thing to do when you are in a relationship or even married, and to many it’s quite important to check on your partner from time to time.
Drama and Shawn would share what they really feel about this common relationship scenario — snooping.
Absolutely! It is obvious, isn’t it? If I have complete trust in you, why would I go behind your back to seek reassurance? The only reason anyone would want to snoop on their partner’s phone is because they don’t have total faith in them. It is because they may have observed something fishy about their partner’s behavior, and so, want to know what the reality truly is.
If you don’t have distrust in your partner, you wouldn’t snoop on their phones. But of course, it’s not an abnormal behavior in humans, we are built that way. No matter how much you love a person, there’ll come a time when you have the tiniest doubt about their feelings towards you. Lots of people have been in that position at least, once in their lifetime.
