As you prepare to walk down the aisle, there are certain things which every bride should know.
Here are 10 things I think every bride should know before walking down the aisle
You need to choose your bridesmaids with care. You need positive and calm people around you on your big day and even the night before.
2. BEING MARRIED MEANS MORE THAN SIGNING THE DOTTED LINE
Every bride should know being married is more than signing the dotted line. You would definitely feel different being married. Ensure the good feeling last by working on your marriage.
3. YOUR MAKEUP SHOULDN’T MAKE YOU LOOK TOO DIFFERENT
You don’t want your man wondering if you really are the woman he is supposed to get married to. You need to take it easy with the makeup because you should look like an improved version of yourself on your big day and not someone else.
4. SEX ON YOUR WEDDING NIGHT ISN’T A MUST
We all dream of having a super fifty shades kind of sex on our wedding night but the truth is you might just be too tired for it that night. And if you still have the energy for some lovemaking, it might not be a super sex.
5. EARLY NIGHTS AND NO ALCOHOL
You don’t want to look tired and worn out on your big day. You need to go to bed early in the weeks leading to your wedding and also ensure you stop taking alcohol two weeks to your wedding. Your skin would be glad you did.
Choose the music that would be played on your big day carefully. Avoid choosing a song that would get you too emotionally and make you cry. Your makeup might not appreciate the tears.
7. APPRECIATE YOUR BRIDESMAIDS
I know it’s your day but without your maid of honour and bridesmaid, your day won’t be complete. Thank and flatter them at the beginning of the day and also at the end as this would boost their confidence and ensure things run smoothly.
Take care of your arms. Ensure your arms are well toned as you don’t want to show the world flabby arms. This will ensure you look your best and your dress would definitely thank you for it.
9. TAKE IT EASY ON THE PERFUME
You are supposed to be the focus of attraction on your big day and not your perfume so ensure you don’t douse yourself with scent.
10. ENJOY YOUR DAY
Your big day is no time to worry about the food, the arrangements in the venue and stuffs like that. It’s not the day to worry about anything. Even the most organised weddings still have flaws so why worry yourself.
