Has your man got healthy semen? That might just be the question going through your mind at the moment. There are no easy ways to check the quality of his semen yourself and the best bet is visiting your doctor but the signs below could help you while you book an appointment with your doctor.

1. HE LOVES FISH

If your man loves fish, then the probability of him having quality semen is high and there is a research to back this up too. According to a study by researchers from Harvard University, men who eat the most fish had a 65 percent greater sperm concentration than those who eat the least. So if your man loves fish, then the probability of him having quality semen is high too.

2. HE EATS LESS PROCESSED MEAT

If he doesn’t eat much processed meat, then the chances of him having quality semen is also high and there is also a study to back this up. According to a study from researchers in Harvard University, men who ate the most processed meat had significantly lower counts of normal-shaped sperm compared to those who consumed the lowest.

3. HE HAS A LEAN MIDSECTION

According to researchers from Netherlands, men with a waist circumference of 40 inches or greater had lower sperm concentrations and counts of normal-moving sperm than guys with a more whittled waist. The researchers believe carrying too much weight around your midsection could interfere with the production and development of semen.

4. HE DOESN’T WEAR TIGHT UNDERWEAR

Lower scrotal temperature is important if your man wants quality semen and loose underwear enables him to have lower scrotal temperature when compared to tight underwear. A study from UK found that men who wore boxer shorts instead of tight-fitting underwear were 24 percent less likely to have a low-motile sperm count. So the underwear your man wears is really important.

5. HE VISITS THE GYM

If your man takes exercising serious, then the probability of him having quality semen is high. According to researchers from Harvard, men who exercise moderately or vigorously for at least 15 hours a week have a sperm concentration that was 73 percent higher than guys who didn’t work out at that intensity at all.

If your man doesn’t do any of things listed above, I think you should encourage him to as it could give him quality semen.
